I am a WM- clean, and in good shape, and while I cringe at the idea of judging myself in terms of how "attractive" I am (which like many things, is relative anyway), I am often complimented on my looks. I need help talking to women I'm a shy, quiet, handsome guy. When I go out, whether with friends or coworkers, I see them and others drinking and enjoying themselves. I see guys talking and dancing and kissing girls who they didn't come in with. Others who are obviously couples enjoying eachother. For me, it doesn't work. Drinking doesn't loosen me up, so it's not an attractive thing for me to do. No girls ever approach me. I'm basiy an outsider to the action. It's like there's an invisible red rope and I can't get inside. What part of town I try to have some success in doesn't seem to matter. Town Center, Riverside, Downtown, the beaches. The scenes might be different but the end story is the same. Me feeling helpless to change things and at some point holding back tears of frustration and sadness. I'd like that feeling to end before I have to shut it down and just stay home. I feel that'd be just giving up. Growing up, I didn't have any girls or women to help me along. Socially I was always an outcast, even in my own family (unique ethnic background). Through high , I didn't have many friends. No hangouts, girls to go see, parties, dates. I didn't even go to prom! Plus, I grew up in a shitty neighborhood. Basiy I learned you don't talk unless necessary in order to help you survive. The combination of never learning and developing basic socializing and flirting skills and not seeing people as "friendly" and "welcoming" has left me a loner who, even with friends, still feels out of place. It's safe to say, I haven't had a girlfriend. Or a sense of style. Hell, I can't even iron lol I don't know what I'm hoping to find out of this ad. Advice and counsel would be nice.
